Mission Statement

MIPOA is an organization of and for real estate investors.  Our purpose is to assist our members in achieving their real estate investment goals by providing education, motivation, and the opportunity to meet with other folks with similar interests and experiences. We provide programs and newsletters with information on various aspects of real estate investing.  These help the members increase their knowledge through education.  We also provide a newtwork that investors find very helpful in getting their questions answered and their problems solved.

Networking is a very valuable tool.  Meeting fellow investors has never been more fun.  Mingle with Michiana's brightest real estate investors in an informal setting.

How the MIPOA Helps You

Real estate information that works for you.  From property management to plumbing, MIPOA can help.  No organization covers more subjects of interest to real estate investors than MIPOA.  Monthly meetings and weekly luncheons (every Wednesday 12:00 noon, Gateway Center 1st floor restaurant), are held to help investors make bigger profits and fewer mistakes on their road to financial freedom in real estate.  Filled with valuable facts and advice on management, record keeping, transactions like lease-options, analyzing property for bigger profits and fewer headaches, and much more.

Who Are Our Members?

MIPOA members come from all backgrounds and all walks of life.  Our common bond is an interest in real estate investing.  Our membership varies in their investment experience from beginners looking for their first property to full time investors with hundreds of units.  Most members are investing in residential real estate.  The educational background of our members ranges from folks who have bought intensive training programs costing thousands of dollars to folks that have learned it all from a few books, their friends, or in the school of hard knocks.  We also have members that come from various professions that make up, or serve the real estate industry, such as brokers, real estate agents, trades people, lenders, attorneys, and accountants.

Meetings

We meet the fourth Thursday of the month at 6:30 at Gateway Center, 425 N. Michigan St., South Bend, IN, corner of Michigan and Marion Streets, on the 1st floor meeting room.   Guests list for future meetings is yet to be announced, but we always have wonderful guests that are extremely well received, e.g. CPA's, lawyers, motivational speakers, trust/tax shelterers, investment counselors, etc.

Membership

Potential members may attend one free monthly meeting as a guest. Afterward they would be able to join MIPOA for a $40 membership fee, which is, by the way, tax deductible.  Meetings are held at the Gateway Center, 425 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, every 4th Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m.  All with common interest in real estate investment are invited to join.
